The Luminous Package*

Our most comprehensive pre-college advising package with up to 80 hours of advising (starting as early as the spring of your freshman year in high school), includes:

• High School academic and extracurricular planning
• College discernment based on your academic, personal, social, and leadership talents
• Developing a list of potential colleges/universities based on your specific needs and goals
• Community service
• Summer planning
• Major/Concentration discernment
• Strategizing on standardized tests (SAT, ACT, SAT II, AP, IB, TOEFL, IETLS) while tailoring specific dates to maximize options
• Planning to connect with Colleges/Universities
• Coordinate college visits
• Managing social media presence
• Guidance in housing decisions, college course selection, advising conversations, and overall planning to make transitioning to college/university life as smooth as possible from an intellectual, social, and cultural points of view

Assistance with entire application process:

• Essays (from selecting the Common App prompt that best resonates with you to short answers and supplemental essays for up to 12 schools; including schools that are not in the Common App)
• Advice on letter of recommendation requests and preparing supporting materials for these requests
• Preparation for interviews (coaching and two mock interviews)

The Clarity Package

This package is available for rising sophomore, junior, and senior high school students.  It allows us to work together in the allocation of hours of the advising process according to your distinct needs.  It includes up to 40 hours of pre-college advising in the following areas:

• Application strategy sessions
• Developing a list of potential colleges/universities based on your specific needs and goals
• College/Major/Concentration discernment based on your academic, personal, social, and leadership talents
• Summer planning
• Strategizing on standardized tests (SAT, ACT, SAT II, AP, IB, TOEFL, IETLS) while tailoring specific dates to maximize options

Assistance with entire application process:

• Essays (from selecting the Common App prompt that best resonates with you to short answers and supplemental essays for up to 10 schools; including schools that are not in the Common App)
• Advice on letter of recommendation requests and preparing supporting materials for these requests

The Finish Line

This package is ideal for the student seeking to transfer to a different college/university or someone applying to graduate, law, or medical school.  It includes up to 25 hours of advising and assistance with all aspects of the application process including making the final decision.

You will be guided through:

• Application strategy sessions
• Developing a list of potential colleges/universities or other academic programs based on your specific needs and goals
• Assistance pursuing research, clinical, or other appropriate opportunities
• Advice on letter of recommendation requests and preparing supporting materials for these requests
• Presentation of extracurricular involvement (guidance in your résumé/CV development every step of the way)
• Managing and understanding the wait-list process
• Supporting you and your family throughout the process via email, Skype, FaceTime, telephone
• Essay preparation for transfer students:
  • From selecting the Common App prompt that best resonates with you to short answers and supplemental essays for up to 6 schools; including schools that are not in the Common App
• Essay preparation for prospective students of other programs:
  • Essays required for the program of your choice
• Please note: if you are interested in applying to graduate school and minimizing your options, you will greatly benefit from working with us at least two years prior to the application deadline.
